Twenty foot wind socks were printed on duet for the opening ceremonies of the 2002 Olympic Winter Games. Skaters carried the wind socks across the ice to recognize the host cities of the previous winter games.

Nichols' finishing department created windsocks to the exact specifications of the designer, and participated in history.
